She is highly professional in her work and is often blunt or harsh toward those she considers a distraction particularly anyone who threatens her connection with her regulars or the tips they provide.

Despite her sharp edges, Yumechi generally acts with good intentions and displays a strong sense of loyalty to the Oinky Doink Café. She is perceptive and emotionally intelligent, able to read people well and adjust her behavior accordingly when the situation demands it.

Yumechi is also fiercely defensive of the café’s reputation. She reacts strongly to any insults directed at her workplace and will not hesitate to speak out or take action. In addition to her charisma, she is skilled in physical combat and is willing to use force when necessary to protect her fellow maids and the café.

Yumechi has pale skin, pink eyes, and long black hair styled in twin tails, her signature look and a popular feature among her regular customers. She wears the standard Oinky Doink Café maid uniform, which includes a frilly dress, long white stockings, and black Mary Jane shoes.

Yumechi is the longest-serving maid at the Oinky Doink Café and is considered the café’s top earner, thanks to her energetic charm and popularity with customers. Her twin-tail hairstyle and lively persona make her a standout among the staff, and she plays a key role in keeping the café afloat financially.

In Episode 2, Yumechi showcases her keen observational skills during a poker game, where she accurately reads subtle behavioral cues from her opponent and bluffs with confidence. Although she ultimately loses the round due to a weaker hand, her tactical awareness is evident. During the same episode, she expresses her loyalty to her fellow maids over the café manager, helping to organize a surprise birthday celebration for Ranko. She later delivers the fatal shot to Kaoruko, who had insulted Ranko.

In Episode 6, when Nagomi attempts to put an end to the violence surrounding maid culture, Yumechi offers her a sobering reality check. She warns that people have always died and will continue to die, and that Nagomi’s pacifism may only get someone killed—either herself or someone protecting her. Her warning becomes tragically prophetic when Nerula dies shielding Nagomi and Ranko from an ambush orchestrated by Manami.

In Episode 9, Yumechi explains the café’s low standing within the Creatureland Group hierarchy, describing it as being at the bottom of the pyramid structure. Aware of their limited influence, she advises her co-workers to remain quiet and apologetic when higher-ranking maids force them to grovel after Nagomi’s mistake. Despite her pragmatism, Yumechi appears moved by Nagomi’s impassioned determination to change their fate by winning the Lady Omoe Festival. She proudly watches as Nagomi claims victory for the café.

In Episode 10, Yumechi joins Shiipon and Zoya in cheering Ranko on for her date with Suehiro, unaware that he had been sent to assassinate her.

Yumechi and Shiipon appear to share the closest bond among the maids at Oinky Doink Café, having worked together the longest. Their shared history fosters a strong mutual understanding and loyalty. Both are deeply committed to the café and are quick to defend their colleagues and workplace when insulted, often reacting with intensity.

Yasuko Yaegashi
As the most senior maid at Oinky Doink Café, Yumechi often shows impatience toward Yasuko’s careless or erratic behavior, frequently calling her out on mistakes. Despite her low tolerance for Yasuko’s antics, Yumechi is willing to cooperate when it comes to supporting the café or their fellow maids.
