Ojisan has shoulder-length black hair and, since returning from the alternate world, sports a bit of chin stubble. He wears glasses, a dark gray hoodie, pants, and shoes, and has black eyes.
While in the alternate world, he dressed in a white medieval shirt and pants, long brown gloves and boots, a black belt with a dagger attached at the back, and a red scarf with frayed ends. Despite the medieval attire, he continued wearing his glasses.
Although he has an ordinary appearance, he was often ostracized and mistaken for an orc in the alternate world, where the average human attractiveness was much higher than his own.
Personality
Ojisan is not particularly reluctant to have left the alternate world, as most of his memories there involve being an outcast. He is far more interested in the video games he enjoyed before being transported.
He is largely oblivious to the affections of some women he knew in the alternate world, partly because they embody anime tropes that were unfamiliar or less prominent before his time there.
Although an Otaku, Ojisan is strictly a gamer and not well-versed in anime conventions. He fails to recognize similar tropes in RPGs, as he dislikes that type of game.
Plot
Spirit Magic: Using Wild Talker, he can borrow the power of spirits to cast various spells. Spell effects depend on the whims of the spirits and the language of the region for activation. When casting on himself, he always uses Granbahamalian.
Wild Talker: An auto-translation skill allowing Ojisan to communicate with any being, human, spirit, or monster, gained as a transport bonus to fulfill his wish to understand others.
