Warabi initially disliked Nomura for influencing both Rin Onigawara and Mary Kikakujou, drawing them to his side. To challenge him, she kidnapped his friend Masukodera and forced Nomura to participate in her elaborate “games,” where he fought her followers and her pet bear, Kyōbo, before confronting her directly.

Although Masukodera was ultimately rescued by masked girls, Nomura fought and defeated Warabi in battle. His strength and determination earned her respect, and the victory increased his popularity at the academy for his courage and loyalty to his friend.
