Personality

Tsunami Jousuke is an energetic and optimistic individual who provides unwavering support to his teammates. A self-proclaimed “man of the ocean,” he has a deep love for the sea, often drawing comparisons between life, soccer, and the vastness of the ocean.

Within the team, Tsunami is regarded as a cool and laid-back figure. As the oldest member, he naturally takes on the role of a big brother to his teammates, maintaining a relaxed demeanor even when his juniors act unusually around him. His carefree attitude extends to his perspective on soccer, which he views as less complex than surfing.

His deep connection to the ocean is reflected in both his speech and playing style, as he frequently references the sea when offering advice or making observations. This affinity for the ocean is also evident in his techniques, as many of his special moves are named after aquatic elements. Despite his easygoing nature, he possesses an exceptional athletic sense, as noted by Megane, and was able to develop his own Hissatsu shot on his very first day playing soccer.

Tsunami is 15 years old in Inazuma Eleven and 25 years old in Inazuma Eleven GO.

Background

His impressive skills later earned him a spot in Inazuma Japan, where he competed in the Football Frontier International tournament, proving himself as a world-class defender.

Years later, in Inazuma Eleven GO VS Danball Senki W, Tsunami returns as a veteran player for Inazuma Legend Japan, representing the best of his generation.
