Originally named Arnold, Taratectora was once a Solarian officer fiercely loyal to Princess Raksha, serving alongside his closest friend, Olto Zora. Following the destruction of their homeland at the hands of Woltekamui of the Winged Bloodline, Arnold and Olto Zora embarked on a journey to avenge their fallen princess. However, their mission was thwarted when Artemisia transformed them into dragons, a fate that deeply affected Arnold’s sense of duty. Determined never to lose his master again, he became obsessed with strengthening himself, even at the cost of his original identity.

Despite holding a higher rank than Olto Zora who achieved the status of superior dragon in just one year Taratectora took twenty years to reach the same level, significantly longer than the usual timeframe of fifteen years. As a result, he did not develop exceptionally powerful abilities but instead devoted himself to rigorous training, tempering his body to its peak condition.

Taratectora is a respectful and honorable warrior, valuing strength and integrity. This is particularly evident in his battle against Ragna, where he fought with unwavering determination and a sense of fairness.

Taratectora is the tallest among the members of the Winged Bloodline, distinguished by a helmet-like exoskeleton covering the top of his head. This exoskeleton features seven flames, giving the impression of nine eyes arranged in an arachnid-like fashion.

In his early draconic form, Taratectora possessed a centaur-like physique with a spider-like lower half, reflecting his hybrid nature. However, upon evolving, he transitioned into a bipedal, armored form, gaining two additional pairs of arms. These extra limbs serve both as thrusters for enhanced mobility and as heavy firearms, significantly augmenting his combat capabilities.

Alongside Olto Zora, Taratectora launches an assault on the Argentum Corps’ base, where he is confronted by Ragna. Initially, he fails to recognize Ragna as Artemisia’s attacker, as the latter is deliberately suppressing his strength on Crimson’s advice. Despite this, Taratectora forces Ragna to retaliate by unleashing his Threefold Arm Seismic Cannon, resulting in the loss of Taratectora’s right side and the depletion of most of his magical energy for ten minutes.

After recovering, Taratectora attempts to strike Princess Starlia, only to experience a recoil effect from the force of his own attack, which is redirected back at him by Ragna. Realizing the devastating impact, he chooses to self-detonate in an attempt to mitigate the damage, though he sustains severe injuries in the process.

Understanding that his regeneration abilities will be insufficient to save his life, Taratectora, at his own request, receives a final order from Olto Zora to sacrifice himself in a final attack. With his last act, he detonates his body in an effort to annihilate the Argentum Corps. However, his explosion is successfully contained and frozen by Ragna and Starlia, ultimately preventing further destruction.

Superior Dragon Physiology
As a superior dragon, Taratectora possesses all the fundamental abilities of a matured high-class dragon, including immense physical and magical prowess, enhanced self-regeneration, and the ability to project flames. He can also spawn lesser dragons from his own blood and transform from his humanoid form into a fully realized dragon, unlocking his full potential. A single superior dragon is powerful enough to annihilate entire armies numbering in the tens of thousands.

Immense Strength and Magic Power
A former royal guard of Princess Raksha, Taratectora alongside Olto Zora was recognized as an exceptionally skilled warrior, excelling in both close-quarters combat and long-range assaults. His explosive fists made him a formidable opponent, and after being transformed into a dragon, he devoted two decades to honing his physical combat skills. As the 5th seat of the Winged Bloodline, Taratectora surpassed Dornea, Chantioras, and Grymwelthe in raw strength.

Immense Speed
Despite his massive size, Taratectora exhibited incredible speed, capable of trading blows with Ragna, even while holding back to avoid drawing Woltekamui’s attention. His agility allowed him to keep pace with Ragna, who was fast enough to disappear from Grymwelthe’s sight and even outmaneuver Melgubude’s supersonic Predation attack.

Immense Durability
Among the Winged Bloodline, Taratectora was regarded as one of the most physically resilient dragons. His body was durable enough that even Ragna, using his full strength, could only leave surface-level scratches. Compared to inferior dragon species, superior dragons possess multiple layers of anti-magic resistance, making them highly resistant to silverine weapons and other specialized anti-dragon weaponry.

Dragonification
As a superior dragon, Taratectora is capable of shifting between his humanoid form and his fully realized dragon form. In his true form, he resembles a golem or an Earth Elemental, with all of his limbs converted into powerful cannons. Additionally, propellers emerge from his back, granting him enhanced speed and mobility in battle.

Enhanced Silverine Resistance
Taratectora possesses enhanced resistance to argentum-based weaponry and Silverine, a material designed specifically for combating dragons. His superior dragon physiology grants him additional layers of defense against such specialized attacks.

Explosive Magic
One of Taratectora’s signature abilities, Explosive Magic, allows him to convert his own blood into powerful explosive reactions. These detonations can be used offensively to devastate enemies or defensively to enhance his physical strength and mobility.

• Explosive Mass – Taratectora performs a high-speed nosedive from extreme altitudes, using his mass, velocity, and explosive magic to transform himself into a kinetic projectile. This attack is powerful enough to obliterate entire cliffs and demolish the underground fortifications of the Argentum Corps.
• Threefold Arm Seismic Cannon – Taratectora’s most powerful technique, this attack involves combining three of his arms into a single massive arm, into which he channels all of his Explosive Magic. The resulting punch generates a tremendous explosion, capable of clashing against Ragna’s Dragon Hunting Flash, even when the latter was holding back. However, due to the immense energy expenditure, this attack requires a significant recovery period before it can be used again.
• Twofold Arm Mountain-Leveling Cannon – Taratectora combines two of his arms into an enormous cannon, capable of unleashing a six-shot barrage in rapid succession. Each blast carries devastating force, capable of obliterating large-scale structures and landscapes, making it one of his most formidable ranged attacks.
• Suicidal Concatenated Explosions – Taratectora’s ultimate technique, reserved as his final resort in battle. By detonating all the remaining blood within his body, he triggers a chain reaction of massive explosions, each capable of tracking and pursuing targets autonomously. With this technique, he attempted to eradicate the entire Argentum Corps, along with the surrounding landscape. The sheer magnitude and quantity of the explosions proved overwhelming even for a holding-back Ragna, who required the assistance of Starlia and the use of his Silver Aura Battle Arts to successfully contain the devastation.

Taratectora is remembered as a warrior and thinker, a dragon who sought strength but also questioned the cost of power. Its influence on the Solarians extended beyond combat, shaping discussions on leadership, duty, and honor within the Winged Bloodline. Whether viewed as a symbol of wisdom or a cautionary figure, Taratectora’s impact on draconic history remains undeniable.
