When frightened, she becomes completely immobile. Despite her quiet nature, Suzuna demonstrates maturity for her age and is remarkably straightforward. She openly acknowledges Hinata Shintani’s romantic feelings for her sister, Misaki Ayuzawa, a sentiment her mother, Minako Ayuzawa, also recognizes. Suzuna observes that Hinata is easy to read and, over time, develops a growing affection for him.

She chose to attend Seika High School both to stay close to her family and because it was the more affordable option.

Misaki Ayuzawa
Suzuna shares a close and affectionate bond with her older sister, Misaki Ayuzawa, often addressing her as “Sis” or “Onee-chan.” The two sisters closely resemble each other, with Suzuna having shorter hair, which she typically styles into two pigtails. Despite her usually passive nature, Suzuna supports Misaki in various ways, such as helping her prepare for a date with Takumi Usui.

Misaki, in turn, is highly protective of Suzuna, as seen when she shields her from the lecherous Tenryū Arashiyama. Suzuna and Hinata Shintani have been close friends since childhood and have a playful dynamic, referring to each other as “Hamburger-kun” and “Cheese-chan.” Together, they created a concept called “Cheese-Filled Hamburger,” though Suzuna later remarked that it lost its appeal after Hinata lost weight.

In later chapters, Suzuna begins to develop romantic feelings for Hinata, despite his initial claim that he does not see her in that way when asked by the Moron Trio. However, in Chapter 82, Suzuna boldly declares to Hinata that she will no longer hold back and will pursue him wholeheartedly, leaving him speechless yet visibly flustered. By the final chapter of the series, Hinata and Suzuna are married.

Sakuya Ayuzawa
As a child, Suzuna was affectionate toward her father, Sakuya Ayuzawa, and particularly admired his cooking. This attachment is evident when she instantly recognizes the taste of his rice balls at Maid Latte, demonstrating her lasting fondness for his culinary skills.
