However, following a traumatic and unresolved incident involving a demon attack and the loss of his family, Shu abruptly left the organization. He then founded the I&S Office, a smaller and much less funded agency that takes on select demon-extermination jobs.

He now operates alongside Kisara, a demon with whom he has formed a peculiar contract that boosts her power in exchange for his memories. Their connection is central to both the progression of their missions and the slow unraveling of Shu’s forgotten past.
