A childhood friend of Kouki Amanogawa and Ryutarou Sakagami, and the best friend of Kaori Shirasaki, Shizuku initially travels alongside the other summoned heroes. Appearance in Anime

Before being summoned to Tortus, Shizuku was a student at the same high school as Hajime Nagumo and Kaori Shirasaki, where she was admired for her grace, intelligence, and skill in kendo. Known for her strong sense of duty and calm demeanor, Shizuku was widely respected among her peers.

After being summoned to the fantasy world along with her classmates, she was assigned the combat role of Swordmaster, a class emphasizing speed, technique, and melee prowess. Shizuku remained close with her childhood friends Kouki and Ryutarou, and served as a moral anchor for them, especially as Kouki’s ideals began to conflict with the harsh realities of Tortus.

Shizuku’s worldview was deeply shaken by the events in the Orcus Labyrinth, Hajime’s fall, and the later betrayals by their classmates. Despite the emotional strain, she remained committed to protecting her friends and doing what was right. As the journey progressed and her bond with Hajime grew, she gradually fell in love with him and became one of his companions and eventual brides.

Role in the Story

Journey as a Swordmaster: After being summoned to Tortus, Shizuku quickly proves herself as a skilled combatant, supporting the frontlines with her speed and swordsmanship. She plays a key role in stabilizing the hero group, especially when Kouki’s ideals begin to clash with Hajime’s brutal realism.

Aftermath of Betrayal: Following the betrayals by Eri Nakamura and the death of Daisuke Hiyama, Shizuku’s faith in their mission is shaken. She recognizes the flaws in Kouki’s thinking and the futility of clinging to idealism without facing reality. This maturity draws her closer to Hajime, whose brutal honesty and resolve challenge her worldview.

Alliance with Hajime: Eventually joining Hajime’s party alongside Kouki, Ryutarou, and Suzu, Shizuku participates in clearing the remaining Great Labyrinths. Her growing admiration for Hajime deepens into romantic feelings, which she acknowledges and accepts as the final battle against Ehit approaches.

Return to Japan: After Ehit is defeated and the group returns to Earth, Shizuku, like several others, becomes one of Hajime’s wives, fully embracing her feelings and choosing to remain at his side even beyond the fantasy world.

Relationships

Hajime Nagumo: Initially wary of Hajime due to his transformation and ruthless tactics, Shizuku gradually comes to respect, admire, and love him. His emotional strength, devotion to his companions, and willingness to make hard choices resonate with her own internal struggles, eventually leading her to become one of his wives.

Kaori Shirasaki: Shizuku’s best friend and emotional confidante. She consistently supports Kaori, especially as she deals with her own feelings for Hajime. Despite eventually falling for the same man, Shizuku and Kaori remain loyal friends and accept one another as co-wives without animosity.

Kouki Amanogawa & Ryutarou Sakagami: Her childhood friends. Shizuku acts as Kouki’s moral anchor, especially as his hero complex begins to cloud his judgment. She also shares a strong camaraderie with Ryutarou, often training and fighting alongside him.
