Rin is described as a kind, empathetic, mature, and outgoing individual. She often serves as a source of guidance and comfort to her best friend, Yuki, offering thoughtful advice, especially when it comes to matters of romance or intimacy with Itsuomi. She deeply supports Yuki’s relationship and remains a steadfast friend who is always there for her.
In her interactions with Itsuomi, who had been the main object of her affection since high school, she often displays a more childish side, especially when he brushes off her advances, much to her dismay. Despite her unrequited love, she would often vent her frustrations to Shin, and the two would drink together.
Because of her closeness with Shin, she was initially oblivious to his feelings for her until he confessed them himself. Faltered by his declaration, she was unable to respond right away. However, when she finally decided to give him a chance, she asked him out on a date and appeared shy when seen together with him.
History
Although little is known about Emma’s childhood, it is known that she attended the same high school as Itsuomi and Shin. She fell for Itsuomi at first sight and would pursue him whenever she had the chance, only to be turned down each time, making her love for him unrequited. She is also known to work at a beauty salon.
When it comes to her relationship with Kyouya Nagi, Itsuomi’s older cousin, Rin initially becomes easily flustered in his presence, often finding herself unable to speak properly around him. Over time, Rin and Kyouya grow closer as they spend more time together, eventually going out to dinner and forming a deeper bond. Their connection continues to develop, and they ultimately become a couple.
