History

NoDak Spud LLC was established by Harlan Ekre on September 16, 2005, in Edina, Minnesota, following the bankruptcy declaration of Federal Arms Corp, where Ekre was employed. Utilizing Dan Coonan Industries’ manufacturing license, Ekre commenced the production and sale of AK receivers. Over time, NoDak Spud relocated to its independent facility.
