Minami is a beautiful young girl with pink hair that flows down to her shoulders and purplish-pink eyes. She has a curvaceous figure befitting a model, with a sizable chest that Ruby Hoshino once described as “amazing.” As a student in Youtou High School’s Performing Arts Program, she wears the standard uniform consisting of a white shirt with a large ribbon tie, though she stands out from other female students by not wearing the vest.

Outside of school, Minami is often seen in different stylish outfits. When Ruby visited Aqua Hoshino’s rehearsals for Tokyo Blade, Minami wore a turtleneck long-sleeve shirt paired with a belt that accentuated her waist. Later, when Ruby asked her to help fill a cosplayer slot, Minami tied her hair into a side ponytail and wore an elaborate cosplay featuring elven ears with elegant earrings, faun-like horns, and an intricate fantasy-style dress.

Minami is a genuinely friendly and sociable girl who gets along well with Ruby Hoshino and Frill Shiranui. Although she is quieter and more perceptive than Ruby, she remains just as optimistic and cheerful, often balancing out Ruby’s energetic personality with her calm and thoughtful demeanor.

Known for her easygoing nature, Minami is often described as someone who likes to “go with the flow.” During her introduction to Ruby, she playfully spoke in a Kansai regional dialect despite being born in Kanagawa, reflecting her lighthearted and adaptable personality.

Ruby is Minami’s classmate and close friend. The two share a friendly and playful dynamic, often seen bantering alongside Frill Shiranui. Minami once accompanied Ruby to visit Aqua during the rehearsals of the Tokyo Blade stage adaptation. Later on, Ruby invited her to participate in the cosplay segment of Dig Deep! One Chance, showcasing their supportive friendship both in and outside school.

Frill is another of Minami’s classmates and friends. She often joins in on the lighthearted banter between Ruby and Minami, forming a cheerful trio known for their camaraderie and lively interactions.

Minami’s surname Kotobuki means “longevity, congratulations, one’s natural life” (寿).
