Minami Azuma is a young girl with short black hair and violet eyes, with her bangs always covering her forehead. During her time with the Hotokeda Gang, she wore a samurai-style outfit along with a mask, reflecting her affiliation with the group.

Following the time skip, her hair grows significantly longer, marking a notable change in her appearance. Despite these changes, her defining features, including her intense gaze and signature bangs, remain consistent throughout her character’s evolution.

Minami Azuma is a calm and composed individual who rarely speaks, often maintaining a stoic demeanor. Though she appears detached, it is subtly hinted that she harbors romantic feelings for Kyotaro Azuma, leading to feelings of jealousy toward Rinka Urushiba as Kyotaro grows closer to her.

Kyotaro perceives Minami as someone who is incapable of committing crimes of her own will, believing that she is merely being manipulated by the Professor. However, when working alongside her group, Minami exhibits a cruel and ruthless side, demonstrating her willingness to carry out her organization’s objectives. In the first part of the series, Minami Azuma follows her father, Hokusai Azuma, and actively participates in the ESP Liberation Front’s terrorist activities. However, it is later revealed that their actions were merely a distraction, intended to lure out the enemy responsible for stealing the other tablet from the Ark and for the murder of her mother.

In the second part, Minami embarks on a journey alongside Kozuki Kuroi, traveling across the world as part of her father’s ongoing plans. It is eventually revealed that Hokusai Azuma had instilled in her a singular mission: to seek revenge for her mother’s death. To fulfill this objective, Minami is tasked with carrying and protecting the Ark, a role that makes her a primary target. As a result, she becomes relentlessly pursued by The Siblings, who seek to take possession of the artifact.

Minami Azuma possesses the same teleportation ability as Kyotaro Azuma, allowing her to instantly transport herself to any location at will. This power grants her significant mobility, making her a formidable opponent in combat and an elusive target when pursued.

In addition to her teleportation abilities, Minami is highly skilled in swordsmanship. She has demonstrated exceptional proficiency with bladed weapons, using them effectively in battle. Her combat skills, combined with her teleportation, make her a dangerous and agile fighter, capable of executing swift and unpredictable attacks.
