Mikoto Kiba is a high school girl of average height with a lean and athletic build. She has hip-length silver-gray hair with shorter bangs and a distinctive lock of hair that hangs down in front. Her golden eyes and graceful features complement her relatively large bust, making her stand out among her peers. At school, Mikoto’s refined appearance and composed mannerisms contribute to her reputation as the “rich girl,” earning admiration particularly from her female classmates.

Outside of school, Mikoto often wears elegant and fashionable dresses, though this polished image conceals her more unrefined personality, especially when around close companions like Arashi Mikami and Oriha Nashida. During missions for Black Label, Mikoto opts for practical yet striking combat attire. She forgoes a mask in favor of sunglasses to hide her identity and wears a leather jacket, a scarf, bloomers, and thigh-high boots reinforced with steel knee pads.

Mikoto Kiba presents herself as a cheerful and energetic student in her everyday life, though she is also known for her short temper and blunt attitude. She is quick to lend support to her close friends, particularly Arashi Mikami and Yuu Momokino, and has a friendly, if less prominent, relationship with Hinako Kominato. Mikoto’s courage and loyalty are notable traits, exemplified when she risked her safety to save Yuu from an assault. She is highly dutiful and follows orders from the Black Label organization without hesitation.

However, Mikoto exhibits a markedly different personality when operating as a member of Black Label. During missions, she becomes far more aggressive, confrontational, and prone to foul language. Whether this reflects her true self freed from societal constraints or is merely a product of mission stress remains ambiguous. Despite this shift, she remains focused and effective in the field.

Within Black Label, Mikoto often displays tsundere-like tendencies especially in her interactions with younger members such as Arashi and Oriha Nashida oscillating between affection and irritation. In contrast, she maintains a respectful and deferential demeanor toward senior figures like Yuko Sagiri and Miki Tsurugi.

Although she cultivates an elegant and composed image while at school, Mikoto’s real personality is more fiery and unfiltered, particularly in private or high-pressure situations.

Mikoto Kiba was born into the Kiba family, a prominent yakuza household. Her older brother, Yuki Kiba, sought to reform the family’s criminal ways from within, challenging the traditional norms of the underworld. His efforts ultimately cost him his life, he was killed in what was staged as a motorcycle accident. Mikoto was critically injured in the same incident.

She survived thanks to the emergency intervention of the Mochizuki Hospital staff. Deeply affected by the loss of her brother and inspired by those who saved her, Mikoto eventually became affiliated with Black Label, the covert vigilante organization tied to the hospital. Motivated by justice and her personal losses, she dedicated herself to fighting the corruption and criminality that destroyed her family from within.

Mikoto Kiba is an expert motorcyclist, having been taught everything she knows by her older brother. Her skill in handling motorcycles not only serves as a means of transportation but also extends into combat, where she uses the vehicle as a dynamic part of her fighting style.

Smith & Wesson M627-5 “Eight Ball”
Mikoto’s primary weapon during missions is a Smith & Wesson M627-5, an eight-shot revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. She favors this model for its manageable recoil, as she considers .44 Magnum rounds too powerful for her to handle comfortably. To enhance her reload speed during battle, the revolver is equipped with a speed loader.

Suzuki GS1200SS “Black Goose”
The Black Goose is Mikoto’s primary motorcycle and serves as her main form of transportation alongside Arashi Mikami. She demonstrates exceptional control over the bike, often using it aggressively in combat situations as an extension of her own body. The Black Goose is maintained and replaced as needed by Fiona Ran Winchester, who keeps several identical models in reserve to ensure mission readiness.
