Melpan is a white and midnight blue panda-like mascot with a stylish and cool design. She has light purple heart markings on her ears and a pair of inverted heart-shaped markings under her eyes. Her expression is often emphasized by her short, stubby eyebrows, giving her a bold and determined look. She wears light blue bottoms decorated with a red heart print around the waistband, completing her distinct mascot appearance.

In her Pretty Mascot Form, Melpan transforms into a human-like idol. She gains sharp amethyst eyes with a single lower lash and star-shaped pupils, emphasizing her cool-type elegance. Her midnight blue hair is styled into curled twin-tails that hang from large buns, each decorated with heart motifs. She also sports straight bangs. Her outfit consists of a pleated raspberry dress over a layer of white fabric that covers her shoulders, beneath a light blue flap lined with dark teal, which coordinates with her shoes. The hem of her dress features a row of raspberry hearts, and a gold heart accent with two trailing white ribbons sits at the center of her chest.

In her Idol Mascot Form, Melpan retains her eyes from her Pretty Mascot Form, but her hair lengthens, and the inward curls evolve into loose drills. Her hair buns become looped shapes and lose their heart designs. She now wears asymmetrical accessories, a red, pink, and gold floral ornament on one side, and a red heart-shaped ribbon adorned with purple and gold hearts on the other. Additional features include indigo heart earrings and a small pair of pale-colored wings, enhancing her idol-like presence.

Melpan is a level-headed and responsible mascot, often acting as the composed and practical figure among her peers. She is deeply dedicated to Meltic StAr, showing strong enthusiasm and determination to support the unit in achieving their goals. Her loyalty drives her to act with purpose and discipline, often taking her role more seriously than she lets on.

Outwardly, Melpan can appear aloof, blunt, or even slightly arrogant, which stems from her efforts to mirror the rivalry-driven attitude of Meltic StAr. She tends to suppress her true emotions, believing that maintaining a competitive image is part of her duty as their mascot. Over time, she begins to show parallels with Anna Akagi, particularly in the way both characters hide their deeper feelings behind a confident exterior.

However, unlike Anna, Melpan is slightly more open with her emotions, occasionally letting her genuine care and admiration for others slip through. She often finds herself having to consciously maintain her “rival attitude,” a reminder of her role more than a true reflection of her heart. As her relationships grow, Melpan’s emotional side gradually emerges, revealing a more balanced and sincere personality.

Meltic StAr
Melpan is deeply committed to Meltic StAr and is determined to support the unit in reaching their full potential especially in the Princess Cup. She strongly believes in her ability to help guide them to victory. Initially, Anna Akagi was skeptical about Melpan’s presence, feeling that the group didn’t need a mascot and found Melpan’s energy irritating. In contrast, Sara and Mel welcomed her, appreciating her charm and enthusiasm. Over time, particularly after a pizza-making contest against Miracle☆Kiratts, Anna comes to recognize Melpan’s dedication and praises her for her support, ultimately accepting her as a valued member of the team.

KiracCHU
KiracCHU is one of Melpan’s teammates in the mascot unit GOGO! MASCOTS. They share a cooperative and respectful relationship as fellow mascots supporting their respective idol groups.

Rabbily
Rabbily is also a member of GOGO! MASCOTS and works alongside Melpan in supporting idol activities. Together, the trio forms a strong mascot team that complements each other’s strengths.
