Meguri Shiromeguri

Meguri Shiromeguri is a character in the My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU series. She is a third-year student at Sobu High School and the former president of the student council. Known for her cheerful and easygoing personality, Meguri also served as an upperclassman and predecessor to members of the Service Club. As of Volume 14, she has graduated from Sobu High School.

Meguri Shiromeguri is a cheerful, outgoing, and optimistic individual known for her warm and team-oriented spirit. She consistently maintains a positive attitude and puts effort into everything she does. Although she is sociable and intelligent, she gives off a slightly airheaded yet approachable vibe, which endears her to the student body and makes her widely popular.

Meguri is a good listener and values the opinions of others, making her well-liked by her peers. Her friendly and conflict-free nature allows her to get along with virtually everyone, fostering a welcoming and harmonious environment wherever she goes.

Appearance

Meguri Shiromeguri is an attractive young woman with shoulder-length, curly brown hair typically styled in twin braids. Her bangs are cut short and swept to the left side of her face, adorned with three distinctive pink hair clips two on the right and one on the left. She has soft, grayish eyes that complement her gentle expression.

She is most commonly seen wearing the standard Sobu High School uniform.

Abilities

While Meguri Shiromeguri may not possess the qualities of a commanding or strategic leader, her friendly and approachable personality has earned her strong support and cooperation from her peers and subordinates. She is highly regarded as an effective coordinator, capable of organizing events and working well within a team.

Meguri also has musical talent she is able to play the piano, as demonstrated in Episode 12 of the anime. During her first year, she participated in Haruno Yukinoshita’s volunteer band and was noted to have practiced alongside her.

Etymology

Meguri’s surname, Shiromeguri (城巡), is composed of the kanji shiro (城), meaning “castle,” and meguri (巡), meaning “to patrol” or “to tour.” Together, the name can be interpreted as “castle patrol” or “castle tour,” reflecting a traditional or historical nuance.

    • Meguri’s given name is embedded within her family name, Shiromeguri.
