Demetrius Harris (born June 12, 1993) professionally known as Mechie So Crazy or Mechie is an American hip hop and R & B artist from Washington, D.C.

Mechie gained recognition as an original member of the group 4EY The Future. The group, along with Mechie, rose to fame following the success of their single “Scoot Ova.”

On August 5, 2019, Mechie released a new music video titled “Wanna Be Your Man.” Within two weeks, the video garnered an impressive 712,000 views.

In 2019, Mechie participated in the reality dating show Ex on the Beach Season 3. Throughout several episodes, viewers witnessed Mechie grappling with feelings for his ex, Danielle Clarke, and potential new interest, Ariana Nova, who happened to be Cameron Armstrong’s ex. Caught between the two women, Mechie’s indecisiveness led to tension among the trio. Ariana even vented her frustration about Mechie on Twitter, hinting that he might be favoring Danielle over her.^[19]

Despite the drama, Mechie ultimately chose Ariana during the final crush ceremony, opting to leave the show with her. Despite his strong history with Danielle, his trust was shaken when her answers during a lie-detector test indicated that she wasn’t in love with him.

Before presenting Ariana with the “crush necklace,” Mechie expressed his belief that she was the perfect wife material and voiced his desire for her to end things with Cameron.

On July 5, 2017, Rob Kardashian posted a video to his Twitter account, showing Mechie kissing Blac Chyna on Rob’s bed.
