Marco the Phoenix, is the former 1st division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates and one of Whitebeard’s most trusted confidants and right-hand men. Originally joining the crew as an apprentice, Marco rose through the ranks to become a key figure in the pirate world. After the death of Whitebeard during the Summit War of Marineford, Marco assumed leadership of the Whitebeard Pirates until their eventual disbandment following the Payback War.
