Kineshi Hairo (灰呂 杵志, Hairo Kineshi), is one of the main characters in Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.). He is the class representative of Class 2-∭ and is known for his extreme enthusiasm, strong sense of justice, and passionate leadership. Hairo is highly trusted and respected by his classmates, as he is always motivated, hardworking, and willing to help others.
While he is not part of Kusuo Saiki’s main friend group, he is occasionally seen interacting with them, forming friendly relationships with all of them. His over-the-top energy and intense dedication to teamwork and physical fitness make him both admirable and unintentionally comedic. In the Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan live-action film, Hairo was portrayed by Hideyuki Kasahara.

He wears the standard PK Academy uniform, consisting of a green jacket, white shirt, and black trim, but he is often seen in sportswear due to his athletic lifestyle. His posture is always upright and confident, reflecting his strong leadership and motivational attitude.
Personality
Hairo is loud, energetic, and endlessly optimistic, always pushing himself and others to be their best. His intense enthusiasm can sometimes be overbearing, as he constantly gives motivational speeches and encourages people to work harder, even in situations where it isn’t necessary.
Despite his over-the-top nature, Hairo is genuinely kind and supportive, believing that everyone has potential and should always strive to improve. He treats his classmates equally and fairly, always stepping in to resolve conflicts and motivate others.
However, Hairo’s biggest flaw is his inability to recognize when his energy is too much. He assumes that everyone shares his level of passion, leading to situations where he unintentionally pressures people into working harder than they need to. Despite this, his good intentions make him one of the most beloved figures in PK Academy.

Hairo is the embodiment of enthusiasm and determination, always trying to push his classmates to give their best effort. Whether it’s in academics, sports, or even small tasks, Hairo treats everything like a competition, constantly encouraging people to never give up. -

While Hairo’s intentions are always good, he often fails to realize that not everyone shares his extreme passion. His motivational speeches and pressure to work harder sometimes exhaust those around him, leading to hilarious moments where his enthusiasm becomes a burden. -

Hairo has a deep sense of justice, always standing up for what is right and stepping in when people need help or guidance. He hates seeing laziness or unfairness, and he isn’t afraid to confront people if he feels they aren’t giving their full effort.

Kusuo Saiki
Kusuo finds Hairo’s enthusiasm exhausting, but he acknowledges that Hairo is a genuinely good person. Unlike many other students, Hairo never annoys Kusuo intentionally, as his motivational personality isn’t based on arrogance or self-importance. Although Kusuo doesn’t enjoy being dragged into Hairo’s energy, he secretly respects his leadership skills.
Shun Kaidou
Shun sees Hairo as “a brave and noble warrior”, often mistaking Hairo’s intensity and speeches for heroic declarations. However, he also gets overwhelmed by Hairo’s constant push to improve. Hairo, in turn, sees Kaidou as a bit of a weakling, often trying to encourage him to train and work harder.
Riki Nendou
Hairo and Nendou are surprisingly similar, as both have strong physical strength and straightforward personalities. However, Hairo is hardworking and disciplined, while Nendou is lazy and clueless, making their interactions a hilarious contrast. While Hairo respects Nendou’s toughness, he gets frustrated by Nendou’s lack of motivation.
Aren Kuboyasu
Hairo sees Aren as a naturally strong and capable person, often encouraging him to channel his energy into productive activities. Aren, in turn, respects Hairo’s leadership skills, though he sometimes finds his energy exhausting.
