Kiyoka Kudou was born into the esteemed Kudou family as the only son and second child of Tadakiyo Kudou and Fuyu Kudou. Despite his noble lineage, Kiyoka’s early upbringing was marked by emotional distance from his parents particularly his mother. As a result, he was primarily raised by his devoted nursemaid, Yurie, who became a maternal figure in his life and played a significant role in his development.

Kiyoka Kudou is a highly gifted individual with an exceptional range of supernatural abilities. Widely regarded as the most powerful Gift-user of his generation, he possesses the rare talent of being able to activate and control multiple abilities simultaneously with remarkable ease.

Spirit-Sight:  As a prerequisite for members of the Special Anti-Grotesquerie Unit, Kiyoka possesses Spirit-Sight, which allows him to see Grotesqueries supernatural entities that are invisible to ordinary people.

Electrokinesis:  Kiyoka can generate and manipulate electrical energy at will. He has demonstrated this ability by striking training targets during military exercises, destroying the sealed gate of the Saimori estate with a lightning strike, and imbuing his sword with electricity to enhance his attacks against both Grotesqueries and human adversaries.

Pyrokinesis:  With this ability, Kiyoka can create and control fire. He uses it offensively against familiars, Grotesqueries, and enemy combatants. In more domestic situations, he is also seen using his fire control to heat the bath in his home.

Cryokinesis:  Kiyoka is capable of manipulating ice and cold. He has used this ability to freeze water within the ground, which can be applied strategically during combat.

Following her departure from the Saimori household, the seal on her power gradually weakened, eventually allowing her Gift to awaken.

Kiyoka Kudou is highly skilled in a variety of advanced magical techniques, further enhancing his already formidable range of Gifts. These techniques serve both offensive and defensive purposes, as well as reconnaissance and support roles.

• Barrier Technique:  Kiyoka can generate powerful, invisible force fields used for defense and containment. He uses this ability to surround his home with a barrier that blocks out enemy surveillance familiars. He has also created large-scale protective barriers during battles, shielding himself and allies from attacks—such as during his confrontations with Minoru Tatsuishi and Arata Usuba.

• Familiar Technique:  Kiyoka is capable of creating magical familiars from scraps of paper, which he can dispatch to track or observe targets. This technique is notably used when he searches for Miyo Saimori following her abduction.

• Sealing:  Through the use of a talisman and a spoken incantation, Kiyoka can suppress another person’s supernatural Gift. This technique effectively nullifies the opponent’s abilities by sealing them temporarily.

• Charmcraft:  Kiyoka can manipulate and create magical charms, which can serve various purposes including protection, enhancement, and sealing.

• Share-Sight:  This ability allows Kiyoka to see and hear through his familiars, giving him access to real-time visual and auditory information from distant locations. It is an essential technique for reconnaissance and situational awareness.
