Upon forming a pact with Shu, Kisara entered into a contractual relationship in which she lends her immense power to help him fight demons at the cost of feeding on certain aspects of his memories and emotions.

Although she initially acted out of necessity, Kisara gradually forms a close bond with Shu, becoming both his most trusted ally and emotional support system. Her demonic nature contrasts with her loyalty and affection, as she willingly integrates into Shu’s life not just as a partner in combat, but as a friend, rival, and romantic interest.
