Appearance
Full Appearance in Anime
In her human form, Ilulu appears as a petite young woman with pink eyes, slit pupils, and pink hair styled in low, curly twin tails, with purple highlights at the tips in the anime. She has a generous bust size. Her initial outfit consisted of a black cloak with white fur, and underneath, she wore a black string thong (with a black bra in the anime). After moving in with Kobayashi, her main outfit became a long black t-shirt that reaches her thighs, paired with black thigh-high socks and bright red shoes.
When she first arrived, Ilulu’s human form retained large dragon-like arms and a tail due to her inexperience with shapeshifting. For a time, her hands were rounded nubs without visible fingers, but covered in microscopic hand-like appendages that allowed her to grip objects. She eventually learned to transform her hands into fully human-like ones. Like Lucoa and Tohru, her horns remain visible in her human form. While working at the candy shop, Ilulu wears a light blue button-up shirt that exposes her cleavage, blue pants, and a navy apron.

Personality
When she first appeared, Ilulu was a psychotic and warlike dragon with a deep-seated hatred for humanity. She was disgusted by the idea of dragons like Tohru coexisting with humans and assumed that Kobayashi must have been manipulated or bewitched. Her mistrust of humans was so strong that she was shocked when Kobayashi risked her life to save her, initially convincing Ilulu that she was being deceived.
After her redemption, Ilulu becomes more laid-back but struggles to adjust to human society. Kobayashi often asks Tohru to babysit her and teach her how to interact with humans. Ilulu is determined to find a new purpose in life, though her initial ideas are often too lewd to be taken seriously. She frequently behaves like a child, similar to Kanna, though there are clear differences between the two. Early in the series, she shows little shame when naked, such as when she invited Taketo to bathe with her, but she later becomes flustered when undressing around him.
Background
As a child, Ilulu used to play with humans and had friendly interactions with some of them. However, after her parents were killed by humans during an attack, her fellow dragons convinced her that humans were inherently evil. She stopped interacting with humans and became sad, yet she still believed that humans had done nothing wrong.
Before her parents’ death, a human child friend had made a doll for Ilulu. When she showed it to her parents, they disapproved and destroyed it, leaving her deeply upset. These early experiences shaped her distrust of humans and made it difficult for her to adjust to human society later in life.
