Ignia (イグニア, Igunia), also known as The Fire Dragon God (炎神竜, Enjinryū), is one of the formidable Five Dragon Gods that reside on the continent of Guiltina in the world of Fairy Tail. He is the biological son of the legendary Fire Dragon King, Igneel, and like his father, Ignia is a fearsome and powerful dragon. He also holds the position of Guild Master of the Dark Guild, Fire and Flame, where he exerts his dominance.

Despite his ruthlessness, Ignia holds a deep respect for his father, Igneel, although he does not share the same values of peace or protection.
