Shinso’s journey to becoming a hero was marked by his determination to overcome societal bias against his Quirk, Brainwashing, which many associated with villainy. Shinso is a lean young man with unruly purple hair and sharp indigo eyes. His tired-looking expression and distinctive hair make him easily recognizable. During his time at U.A., Shinso often wore the school’s standard uniform or his hero costume, which features a high-tech mask and binding cloth, reflecting Aizawa’s influence. In his Pro Hero career, Shinso adopts a more polished version of his hero costume, maintaining elements of his mentor’s style while adding his own flair.

  Shinso’s first major appearance comes during the U.A. Sports Festival, where he impresses both peers and teachers with his clever use of Brainwashing to compete against Hero Course students. While he ultimately loses to Izuku Midoriya, his performance serves as a turning point in his journey, earning him recognition and encouragement to pursue his goals.

• Hero Course Transfer
  Under the guidance of Shota Aizawa, Shinso trains extensively, learning to integrate his Brainwashing Quirk with physical combat skills and the use of binding cloth. His progress culminates in his transfer to Class 2-A, where he becomes a full-fledged Hero Course student, training alongside aspiring heroes like Midoriya and Bakugo.

• Post-Graduation and Pro Hero Career
  After graduating from U.A., Shinso establishes himself as a Pro Hero, using his unique Quirk and strategic abilities to tackle a variety of missions. As the Hypnosis Hero: Nighthide, he continues to defy expectations and prove that even unconventional Quirks can be used heroically.
