History

After awakening as a god with precognitive abilities, Hina Satō discovers that the world is ending and finds a boy, Youta Narukami, as her companion, with whom she wishes to spend her remaining time. Throughout the series, she demonstrates “godly powers,” predicting events such as horse race outcomes and weather changes, and uses these abilities to help Youta achieve his goals, including winning the affection of Kyouko Izanami.

As the story unfolds, it is revealed that Hina is not truly a deity, but a girl who should have died from a rare hereditary disease called Logos Syndrome. Through a near-miraculous circumstance, she survived, and her precognitive abilities are actually the result of a chip-sized supercomputer implanted in her head. This device compensates for her disease while granting her the ability to foresee the future. Recognizing the chip’s potential danger, the “Higher Ups” ultimately authorize its removal.
