Although she maintains a hostile attitude toward Yuuki, she acknowledges his skill both in and out of combat. Nevertheless, she is often the first to lash out physically when he becomes involved in awkward or suggestive situations, even if accidental such as walking in on members of the unit while they are bathing or changing.

Himari’s disciplined and hardworking nature stems from her difficult childhood. She frequently trains with Kyouka, honing her Peach Blessing and refining her combat skills, and is strict about fulfilling her duties and following orders. She is quick to criticize others who slack off, though her own temperament can be hot-blooded both in and out of battle, leading some to label her as one of the more unruly members of the 7th Unit. Her sensitivity about her perceived shortcomings especially when compared to her elder sister Yachiho Azuma makes her defensive when her abilities are questioned. Himari’s greatest ambition is to become a hero like Yuuki while striving to emulate Kyouka and make up for what she believes she has failed to achieve in comparison to her sisters.

She is also prone to embarrassment, particularly when matters turn intimate. Prior to her battle against Yachiho, she chose to use Yuuki as her Slave, only to grow flustered when she realized the nature of the “rewards” she would need to give him. Among her siblings, she was most frequently teased by Yachiho Azuma, who seemed to take particular delight in making her the target of her jibes.

Eventually, Himari joined the Anti-Demon Corps’ 7th Unit, a team known for its unconventional members where she rose to the position of Vice Chief. Like all other women who have consumed a Peach from Mato, Himari gained a unique supernatural ability. While her initial capabilities were considered less impressive compared to those of her older sisters, her rigorous training with the Anti-Demon Corps’ 7th Unit allowed her to surpass many Demon Hunters in combat effectiveness, despite the inherent limitations of her Peach Blessing.
