Retaining all of his memories, he approaches his new life with cautious joy now able to be part of the life of the idol he once admired. However, when Ai is killed years later by the same stalker, Aqua (Gorou) becomes consumed by grief and the belief that someone close to Ai betrayed her. This realization fuels Aqua’s transformation into a cold, calculating character obsessed with revenge. Gorou’s personality and ideals continue to influence Aqua’s inner conflict, as his original self still lingers within Aqua’s memories and moral compass.
