Fremy Speeddraw (also known as Flamie in the anime), is a sniper, famously known as the Six Flower Killer (Brave-Killer in the anime) and the Saint of Gunpowder. She is one of the Six Braves, a group of legendary warriors destined to fight the Demon God. Fremy’s character is defined by her exceptional sniper skills, her tragic past as a half-fiend, and her thirst for revenge against the Demon God, whom she holds responsible for the betrayals in her life. Her ability to create bullets and explosives out of thin air makes her an incredibly dangerous and skilled fighter.
Though she initially holds deep disdain for humans due to her past, Fremy begins to soften and opens up to the idea of camaraderie with the rest of the Six Braves, especially thanks to Adlet Myer, who shows her the value of trust and friendship. Despite her cold demeanor and emotional barriers, Fremy harbors deep internal conflicts, particularly regarding her feelings for Adlet, which she initially denies but slowly starts to confront.
Background

Appearance in Anime
Fremy Speeddraw’s background is marked by a deep sense of betrayal and loss. She is a half-fiend, born of both human and fiendish heritage, which already placed her at odds with both humans and fiends alike. Her mother and tribe rejected her after she failed to kill Chamo, setting her on a path of revenge and bitterness. This rejection left her with a deep hatred of humans, whom she often views as weak and inferior. Her emotions are further complicated by her sense of abandonment and the trauma of her past, which fuels her desire to destroy the Demon God.
Her journey as a Brave is one of vengeance she seeks to kill the Demon God as an act of retribution for the betrayal she endured. However, through her interactions with Adlet and the other Braves, she begins to reconsider her outlook on life, learning to accept her comrades and forming bonds that she previously thought impossible.
Appearance
Fremy Speeddraw has a striking and intimidating appearance that reflects her dangerous and lethal nature. She is often seen with her long, silver hair, which adds to her cold and mysterious aura. Her sharp eyes reflect both determination and a certain level of pain from her troubled past. Fremy’s attire is practical for combat, designed to allow her mobility while carrying her weapons, especially her sniper rifle.
Her fiendish heritage is also visible in her appearance, with certain traits that set her apart from regular humans, giving her a somewhat otherworldly look. Despite her fierce exterior, Fremy’s vulnerability is sometimes visible in her expressions, particularly in moments of emotional conflict, adding depth to her character.
Personality
Fremy Speeddraw is a complex character, shaped by her painful past and her desire for vengeance. Initially, she is cold, distant, and has a deep disdain for humans, often viewing them as weak and expendable. Her deep-rooted anger and bitterness towards her tribe and her mother make her initially reluctant to trust or form connections with others. Fremy is fiercely independent and values strength above all else, often pushing people away to protect herself from further emotional harm.
However, Fremy is not without her moments of vulnerability. Despite her cold demeanor, she is deeply conflicted internally, particularly when it comes to her growing feelings for Adlet. Over time, as she interacts with the other Braves and learns to trust them, she begins to open up and accept her comrades as part of her new family. Her emotional growth is one of the central arcs in her character development, as she learns to let go of her anger and embrace the bonds of friendship and teamwork.
Role in the Story
The Brave Killer’s Mission: At the start of the story, Fremy is introduced as a deadly sniper known for assassinating Saints and Braves. As the Saint of Gunpowder, she possesses the unique ability to conjure bullets and explosives from thin air, making her one of the most dangerous individuals alive. Her goal was to eliminate the Six Braves, but after being betrayed by her tribe, her target shifts to the Demon God himself.
Meeting Adlet Mayer: Fremy’s journey begins to change when she encounters Adlet Mayer, who claims to be the “Strongest Man in the World.” Though she is initially suspicious of him, Adlet treats her with genuine kindness and respect, despite knowing her identity as the Brave Killer. This marks the beginning of Fremy’s emotional transformation. As events unfold, Adlet not only protects her but also insists on her worth as a comrade. Though she is reluctant, Fremy finds herself drawn to his unwavering belief in her. Over time, Adlet becomes the first person she allows herself to trust, and possibly love, even if she refuses to admit it openly.
Accepting the Braves: Thanks to Adlet’s efforts, Fremy slowly becomes an ally to the other Braves, despite initial tension and suspicion. While she remains distant, she learns to work with the group, contributing her powerful combat skills and strategic mind. Her eventual acceptance of the Braves as her comrades is one of the series’ emotional high points.
Relationships
Adlet Mayer: Adlet is the first person to show Fremy unconditional kindness and belief. Their relationship evolves from hostility to trust, with Fremy gradually developing romantic feelings for him, though she vehemently denies it. Adlet’s optimism and determination slowly break down her emotional walls.
Chamo Rosso: Fremy failed to assassinate Chamo in the past, leading to her betrayal by the fiends. Their relationship is tense, with Chamo harboring deep resentment and distrust toward Fremy. Despite this, they eventually fight alongside each other.
The Six Braves: Initially, Fremy views the other Braves with hostility and distrust, believing she could never be accepted. However, over time, she forms bonds with them albeit cautiously and becomes an integral part of the team.
