Appearance
Human Form:
Falco Grice is a short boy with a small build. He has short, messy blond hair and large hazel eyes. He is usually seen in a military uniform, which includes a tan jacket and pants, utility packs on his waist, suspender straps, tall combat boots, and a hard hat with a stripe around it. Additionally, he wears a yellow armband on his left arm, marking his status as an Eldian.
Jaw Titan form:
Falco’s Jaw Titan is 5 meters tall, significantly smaller than many other Titans, yet proportionate and muscular, similar to previous Jaw Titan inheritors. His Titan form features two sets of jaws: an outer hardened jaw, similar to prior Jaw Titans, and an inner jaw with a more human-like mouth and teeth. The hardened outer jaw can bite through tough objects, including hardened Titan skin, making it a formidable asset in combat.
Notably, Falco’s Jaw Titan displays avian characteristics. His outer jaw resembles a crude beak, and his hardened arms and legs take on the appearance of talons, resembling those of birds of prey. Additionally, parts of his body are covered in fur, further emphasizing these bird-like traits.
Falco Grice’s transformation into the Jaw Titan, showcasing his determination and newfound power. This pivotal moment highlights the conflict between his human emotions and Titan instincts.
Personality
Falco Grice is naturally gentle and compassionate, not cut out for war or confrontation, and struggles to assert himself in high-pressure situations. Despite these traits, Falco displays considerable courage, as seen when he rushes to protect his friend Gabi Braun during a battle, risking his own life without hesitation. Though not physically adept for warfare, his bravery and selflessness shine through, particularly when he helps an injured enemy soldier and tends to a war veteran back in his homeland.
Falco is polite and respectful, always addressing his seniors with formality, such as calling Reiner “Mr. Braun” or “Deputy Chief Braun.” After talking with both Reiner and Eren Jaeger, he gains newfound confidence, enabling him to assert himself more, even in front of the assertive Gabi, on whom he also has a crush. This growth also improves his performance in training, though he remains humble, brushing off praise and attributing his success to Eren’s motivation.
Empathy is one of Falco’s defining traits. Even after being manipulated by Eren, he understands that the Scout Regiment’s attack on Liberio was a response to Marley’s invasion of Paradis Island. Falco sees the bigger picture, recognizing the shared humanity of people inside and outside the Walls. He is also practical and quick-thinking, capable of devising convincing alibis when needed, such as when he and Gabi are found by Sasha Braus’ family.
Falco demonstrates forgiveness and emotional resilience. Even after being betrayed by Conny, who attempted to feed him to his Titan-transformed mother, Falco holds no grudge and continues working with him to achieve their goals. His kindness, empathy, and ability to stay calm under stress make him a unique and admirable character amidst the chaos of war.

This is exemplified when he quickly rushes to save Gabi from incoming fire during a battle, demonstrating both his agility and bravery. Additionally, his transformation into the Jaw Titan further enhances his combat prowess, giving him the strength and abilities associated with the powerful Titan form. As the Jaw Titan, Falco’s agility and strength are amplified, and he gains the ability to bite through even the hardest materials with his enhanced jaw, showcasing his potential as a formidable Warrior.

Initially a candidate for the Armored Titan, Falco Grice ultimately inherited the Jaw Titan (顎の巨人, Agito no Kyojin) after being inadvertently transformed into a Pure Titan by Zeke Jaeger’s Beast Titan. Due to Zeke’s influence, Falco’s Jaw Titan developed unique animalistic traits resembling birds, making him an extraordinary Titan shifter with avian-like abilities.
Jaw
Jaw
One of Falco’s key features as the Jaw Titan was a hardened jaw capable of biting through extremely durable materials. Like his predecessor, his Titan form had two sets of jaws: the inner jaw had normal teeth, while the outer jaw was hardened and shaped into a beak, increasing its destructive capability.
Speed
Similar to other Jaw Titans, Falco’s Titan form boasted enhanced speed and agility. His smaller, more compact frame made him faster than many other Titans, allowing him to quickly maneuver in combat.
Armor
The hardened jaw extended over his mouth, nose, and much of his lower face, offering some protection against enemy attacks. This provided an additional layer of armor in critical areas during battle.
Regeneration
Like all Titan shifters, Falco possessed the ability to regenerate from injuries, allowing him to heal rapidly from otherwise grievous wounds.
Flight
Unique among Titan shifters, Falco’s Jaw Titan developed bird-like wings, enabling him to fly. This remarkable ability set him apart from other Titans, granting him an unprecedented advantage in mobility and aerial combat.
Relationships
Colt Grice
Falco shared a strong fraternal bond with his older brother, Colt. Falco expressed concern for Colt, particularly over his excessive drinking. Colt, in turn, was protective of Falco, always prioritizing his safety even to the point of sacrificing his own life to protect him from harm .
Gabi Braun
Falco harbored deep feelings for Gabi, his fellow Warrior candidate. He was concerned for her safety and rushed to protect her during dangerous situations. Falco was willing to take her place as the inheritor of the Armored Titan to prevent her from having a shortened life as a Titan shifter. His feelings for Gabi became apparent when he confessed his love for her before transforming into a Pure Titan .
Reiner Braun
Falco was a candidate to inherit Reiner’s Armored Titan, which put him under Reiner’s supervision. Although Falco was initially cautious and intimidated by Reiner, especially after being threatened by him, the two developed mutual respect. Reiner’s behavior toward Falco, including his determination to keep living for the sake of the Warrior candidates, encouraged Falco to continue striving to become a Warrior .
Eren Jaeger
Falco initially believed Eren was a soldier named “Kruger.” He admired Eren for his kindness and often sought him out for advice and encouragement, even crediting him for his improvement in training. However, after discovering Eren’s true identity as the enemy who attacked Liberio, Falco felt betrayed, but he understood that Eren’s actions were fueled by the Warriors’ attack on his home .
Nile Dawk
During their imprisonment, Falco formed a bond with Nile, the leader of the Military Police. Nile encouraged Falco to take advantage of Marley’s attack to reunite with his family and helped Falco gather the courage to confess his involvement in the attack on Liberio and his feelings for Gabi. Falco expressed gratitude toward Nile for his guidance and support .
