Eleonore Bianca

Eleonore Bianca (エレオノール・ビアンカ Ereonōru Bianka?) is an exchange student from the Hero Academy who later attends the Demon King Academy as one of Anos’ classmates. She belongs to the elite class Jerga-Kanon within the Hero Academy and serves as the physical embodiment of one half of Jerga’s source. After Jerga’s defeat, Anos transformed Eleonore into his own magic, giving her a new purpose beyond her original creation.

Appearance

Eleonore is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure and long, flowing black hair that reaches her waist. Her eyes are black with a subtle purple tint, giving her a gentle yet mysterious appearance. She typically wears the scarlet Jerga-Kanon uniform of the Hero Academy, which complements her graceful and composed demeanor.

Personality

Eleonore has a warm, friendly, and easygoing personality, often displaying kindness and patience toward others. She willingly guided Anos and Sasha through the Hero Academy despite the strict rules preventing her from entering alone and showed no hostility toward demons, unlike most of her peers in the Jerga-Kanon class. Throughout the exchange program, she remained calm and approachable, standing out as one of the few heroes who sought understanding rather than conflict. Despite repeated attempts by previous generations of heroes to alter her nature and instill hatred for demons, Eleonore’s innate gentleness prevailed, leading them to abandon their efforts and instead use her as a tool to create source clones.

However, beneath her cheerful demeanor lies deep sorrow and guilt. Forced to endlessly produce source clones destined for battle and death, Eleonore came to view herself as a prisoner of her own existence. Her kind heart could not bear the suffering of her creations, whom she came to see as her own children. She even pleaded with Anos to end her life to stop the cruel cycle of creation and destruction. Her love and compassion are especially evident in the way she dotes on Zeshia, treating her with affection and care like a true mother.

After Jerga’s defeat and her transformation into Anos’ magic, Eleonore finally found peace. No longer burdened by the pain of being used, she regained her radiant optimism and continued to nurture those around her, embodying the kindness and love she had always longed to bring into the world.

History

Eleonore is a living humanoid magic created from Jerga’s source with divine assistance. Designed to inherit his hatred toward demons and serve as a teacher at the Hero Academy, she instead developed a kind and gentle personality, free of malice. Despite countless attempts by the heroes to rewrite her memories and instill hatred, she remained compassionate and empathetic. After centuries of failure, Eleonore was deemed defective and repurposed as a tool to produce source clones like Diego and Zeshia.

As a living magic being, Eleonore reincarnates even if her physical body dies, forcing her to witness the endless deaths of her clones in a cycle of hatred. Over time, she came to believe that the only path to peace was to end her own existence and stop the creation of source clones altogether.

Abilities

Eleonore possesses immense magic power as a humanoid spell, rivaling even demons and humans of the Mythical Age. She can create and sustain De Ijelia using her own power and further amplify her strength through her connection with Aske.

A master of source magic, Eleonore specializes in its use and can perceive the true nature of others by viewing their sources, able to see through even powerful concealments like Anos’ disguise. She can also mass produce source clones, having created 10,000 Zeshia clones, and generate pseudo sources to fuel her spells or defend against source destroying attacks.

  • Anos theorizes that the reason Eleonore never developed any hatred for demons is that she was born from Jerga’s desire for peace.[8]

  • Eleonore uses the pronoun “boku” to refer to herself, which is typically used by boys in their youth.
  • There is a gag about the fact that Anos considers Eleonore’s large breasts as the proof of the peace that he sought, as it was explained that in the Mythical Age, there weren’t any women who possessed such large breasts due to the fact that humans lived in harsh conditions, due to being malnourished and being incapable of sleeping peacefully at night.[10]
  • The reason why the gods helped Jerga is that if enough clones were created throughEleonore, a mutation would eventually occur, and one with a source strong enough to house a god would appear. The Zeshia that follows Eleonore is one of such mutations, as she is capable of speech and thinking.[11]
