However, she was rescued by Kobayashi, the owner of BB Lounge, a small music venue in the heart of Shibuya.

That same night, Kobayashi introduced her to the powerful performance of Maria Diezel, an American singer whose music deeply touched Eiko and inspired her to pursue singing. Eiko began working part-time at BB Lounge and performing occasionally, but despite her talent and efforts, she struggled to break into the competitive music scene. Her motivation was beginning to wane until fate brought Kongming into her life.
