Beckwith’s journey in soccer began to take shape during his high school years at Chardon High School. Under the guidance of coaches Kevin Beckwith, Bob Condon, and Jason Hotchkin, Beckwith emerged as a standout player, earning recognition as a four-time First Team All-Premier Athletic Conference performer. During his high school career, Beckwith showcased his scoring prowess, netting an impressive 127 goals, including a state-high 38 goals as a sophomore in 2008. His exceptional performance on the field earned him accolades such as being named to the Cleveland Plain Dealer All-Star Team and receiving Second Team All-Greater Cleveland area honors. In addition to his accomplishments on the soccer field, Beckwith also excelled in track and field, setting school records in the 100 and 400 meters as a freshman.
