Derrick Jones posed as a teen female and received thousands of naked photos from over 100 male students, which he later used for blackmail. ^[5]He is an 18-year-old who lives in Glenolden, Pennsylvania. He is originally from Philadelphia. ^[1]

Jones was a senior student at Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast High School. He planned on attending Drexel University after high school. ^[1]

Jones is at the center of a large-scale scandal involving the exchange of explicit photos in the Delaware County, PA area. Operating under the alias “Haley,” Jones deceived victims into believing they were communicating with a teenage girl, leading them to share nude images. Jones collected and stored a large number of images and videos of nude boys, with a current count of 136 individuals identified, though authorities anticipate this number to increase.

To coerce compliance, Jones threatened to publicly distribute the explicit images if recipients did not continue the sexually-charged communication. Regrettably, Jones carried out this threat in at least one instance.

As a result, Jones faces charges including dissemination of child pornography, unlawful computer usage, harassment, stalking, and additional offenses. Bail has been set at $50,000.
