Dereck James Harrison is a Centerville, Utah native and the 22 year old son ofFlint Wayne Harrison[4].
Allegations
On May 11, 2016, Dereck and his father, Flint, were charged with 10 counts of first-degree felony aggravated kidnapping, among other offenses. Considered armed and dangerous, both individuals have eluded capture by law enforcement.[4].
The incident began when Dereck and his father extended an invitation to a mother and her four daughters, aged 13, 15, 17, and 18, to a barbecue at their residence located at 190 N. 700 East in Centerville, Utah.
Upon arrival, the victims were forcibly confined to the basement by Flint Wayne Harrison, who wielded a gun, and Dereck, who brandished a baseball bat.
The perpetrators used zip ties to restrain the girls, who managed to break free and scream for help.

The suspects were last seen driving a 2011 silver Chevrolet Suburban bearing a Wyoming license plate reading “AR83G.” Both Dereck and his father have connections to the Pinedale, Wyoming area.
