Denise Salmon Burditus(June 5, 1967 – October 1, 2017) was a beloved resident of Martinsburg, West Virginia. Tragically, she was among the victims who lost their lives in the devastating Mandalay Bay Resort Shooting on the Las Vegas Strip.[1]
Biography
Denise was a full time student and a semi-retired mother who traveled and lived in different cities for many years with her husband, Tony.
The two traveled due to Tony’s Military job. They eventually returned to the town of Martinsburg.
The couple also traveled around the world and to many of their favorite events and music festivals. [[1]
She was a mother of two and soon to be grandmother.
She was married to Tony for more than 32 years.
Death

On the evening of October 1, 2017, during a performance of Jason Aldean who was the last act of the Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival, a gunman opened fire
from a room high above inside of Mandalay Bay. Denise was one of the victims who died by the gunman, while Tony was injured from the shooting. She was one of 58 people who lost their lives.
The shooting was perpetrated by Stephen Paddock. .
