Deng Thiak Adut

Deng Thiak Adut is a defense lawyer specializing in criminal, family, personal injury, and employment law.

At the age of 6, Deng was kidnapped from his family and forced into child soldiering. He was later rescued by the United Nations and resettled in Australia as a refugee when he was 15.

Despite his challenging past, Deng taught himself to read and has since become a prominent lawyer in Australia.
