DeMonte Ty’Juan Douglas, a 17-year-old student at Rock Hill High School in South Carolina, came into the spotlight in February 2016 for an alarming incident involving a baby puppy named Brody. Reports indicated that Douglas shot the puppy 18 times with a BB gun and hurled a knife at the defenseless animal.
