Deborah Dugan is an American Business Executive based in the New York Metropolitan Area. She is the Chief Executive Officer of (RED).
Early Life and Career
Dugan is origianlly from Greenvale, New York. After graduating from Boca Raton High School, she attended the University of Florida.
Career
In the 1990s, Dugan held the position of Executive Vice President at EMI Records. She transitioned to become President of Disney Publishing at the Walt Disney Company in 1999 and remained in this role for eight years. Subsequently, she assumed the position of CEO at Entertainment Rights, where she served until 2009. Following her departure, Dugan acted as a Senior Advisor to the Tribeca Enterprises Board of the Tribeca Film Festival. Notably, she facilitated investment in a for-profit college, Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy, located in Chicago. (RED) was established in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver with the aim of rallying businesses and consumers to combat AIDS in Africa. (RED) collaborates with renowned brands such as Apple, Starbucks, and Converse, who contribute a portion of their profits from the sale of (RED)-branded products and services to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Dugan has served as CEO of (RED) since 2011.
