Čierna(Slovak pronunciation: [ˈtʃɪ̯ɛɾna];Hungarian:Ágcsernyő) is a village andmunicipalityin the Trebišov District in the Košice Region of south-easternSlovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1214.

Geography

The village lies at an altitude of 101 metres and covers anareaof 4.244 km². It has apopulationof 415 people.

Ethnicity

The village is about 90% Hungarian, 8%Slovakand 2%Gypsyin ethnic origin.
