Chrome is an adult male with brown eyes and short brown hair. He has a large, muscular build, favoring armor over light clothing.
In his first appearance, he wears maroon armor with a matching great shield that has white markings. His headpiece covers from forehead to jaw. Under the breastplate, he wears light brown clothing, with shoulder pauldrons, wrist gauntlets, and black gloves. His lower attire consists of black pants and maroon boots.
Personality
Chrome is a caring, honest, and open-minded person who takes things seriously. Outside of combat, he gives off a strong parental vibe.
He is amiable and humorous, often helping new players, such as when he introduced Maple to Iz. Though somewhat competitive, especially feeling self-conscious when Maple outshines him, his dedication and honesty are stronger, and he has supported Maple throughout her time in NewWorld Online.
Plot
Chrome first notices Maple being overwhelmed by monsters on the first floor, sparking discussions in an online forum about her unusual play style. The next day, Maple approaches him, admiring his shield and hoping to learn how to acquire one like it. Surprised, he offers to introduce her to Iz, a skilled crafter.
Although initially cautious about her unorthodox strategies, he gradually comes to respect Maple’s undeniable results, often discussing her surprising skills in private chats with friends. Chrome finished ninth in the first event’s top ten. After the introduction of the guild system, he and Iz happily joined Maple’s guild, Maple Tree.
