Chitose Ikeda (池田 千歳, Ikeda Chitose), is a supporting character in the YuruYuri anime and manga series and its related spin-offs, including MiniYuri, Reset!, and Tensei Shitara Akari dake Slime datta ken. She is a member of the student council at Nanamori Middle School and is most frequently seen accompanying her close friend and fellow council member, Ayano Sugiura. Chitose is also the older twin sister of Chizuru Ikeda, who shares many of her quirks but expresses them differently.
Chitose is known for her daydreaming, nosebleeds, and hidden yuri fantasies, which often add comic relief to the series. Her calm demeanor and genteel tone contrast with her vivid imagination, making her one of the more eccentric yet beloved characters in the series.

Outside her student council duties, Chitose is known for being a habitual fujoshi, imagining romantic and often over-the-top scenarios between other female characters especially between Ayano and Kyoko Toshino. Though her daydreams are purely fictional, they’re so intense that they often result in spontaneous nosebleeds, a running gag in the series.
Appearance
Chitose has long brown hair and wears glasses, which are central to her iconic look. Her student uniform is usually neatly worn, and her posture is polite and ladylike. Occasionally, when she removes her glasses, her demeanor changes significantly becoming far more confident and flirtatious, though she quickly returns to her typical self when she puts them back on.
She and her twin sister, Chizuru, are nearly identical in appearance, though Chitose’s softer expression and more cheerful aura make her easily distinguishable.
Personality
Chitose is soft-spoken, imaginative, and polite, often serving as the calm foil to Ayano’s fiery temperament. She is incredibly devoted to Ayano, often encouraging her feelings toward Kyoko albeit with the ulterior motive of imagining them as a couple in her mind.
Her imagination knows no bounds; she frequently fantasizes about her friends in romantic scenarios, particularly yuri pairings, and takes great pleasure in these thoughts. These fantasies typically trigger extreme nosebleeds, which she tries (unsuccessfully) to hide.
Despite her eccentric hobbies, Chitose is kind-hearted, supportive, and an important emotional anchor for Ayano. She rarely loses her temper and is often seen smiling or quietly enjoying the chaos around her.
