Appearance

Full Appearance in Anime
Anzu is a fair-skinned teenage girl of medium height with messy red hair tied into a ponytail, bangs swept to the left, and loose strands framing her face. She has large round red eyes and a slim build.
At school, she wears the standard uniform consisting of a white collared shirt, a dark blue plaid skirt, knee-length dark blue socks, and red and white sneakers.
Outside of school, Anzu usually dresses in cat-themed clothing, often wearing sandals or going barefoot. After shopping for clothes with Tsukasa Kazuki, she makes an effort to dress less casually when going out with others and even wears makeup on certain occasions.
Personality
Anzu is a logical, blunt, and deeply caring girl who can’t ignore a friend in trouble. She pays little attention to how strangers view her and stays true to her own sense of right and wrong.
As the story progresses, she gradually opens up to others, becoming more considerate and forming meaningful friendships along the way.
History
Anzu Hoshino grew up as an ordinary girl with extraordinary passions. She loved video games, cats such as her pet Momohiki, and chocolate. These three things were the center of her daily life and brought her comfort and happiness. Because of this, she never showed any interest in romance and did not feel the need for it. Her world was simple, peaceful, and filled with the hobbies she loved.
Her life changed when Riri, a magical being from the world of love wizards, appeared. Riri announced that Anzu had been chosen for a special project created to increase the number of successful romances in Japan. Against her will, Anzu had her three greatest pleasures taken away. This was done to push her into romantic situations that she never wanted. From that moment on, her life became unpredictable and full of challenges that forced her outside her comfort zone.
As Riri influenced the world around her, Anzu ended up living with Tsukasa Kazuki, a popular classmate, after a dangerous incident involving a stalker. Although she resisted every attempt to create romantic tension, she slowly formed genuine friendships with Tsukasa, Junta Hayami, and others she met through the project. Her honesty, kindness, and strong sense of justice helped her support the people around her, especially Tsukasa, who carried emotional trauma from his past.
Despite the chaos that Riri created, Anzu grew as a person. She learned to balance her independence with the value of meaningful connections. She discovered that she was capable of caring deeply for others even when romance was not her goal. Her journey became one of growth, strength, and forming bonds that she never expected.
