Eventually, she confessed her feelings to him. Despite snow unexpectedly falling during the moment, Tasuku accepted her confession, and the two began dating.

The name Aguri (亜玖璃) is composed of the kanji a (亜), meaning “second” or “Asia,” ku (玖), meaning “beautiful black jewel” or “nine,” and ri (璃), meaning “glassy” or “lapis lazuli.”

Her surname, Sakurano (桜野), combines sakura (桜), meaning “cherry blossom,” and no (野), meaning “field” or “wilderness.” Notably, Aguri shares her surname with Kurimu Sakurano, a character from Seitokai no Ichizon, a series by the same author and set in the same universe as Gamers!.
