She has long blonde hair, some of which is styled into a braid wrapped around her head, and large blue eyes. Her main outfit is her Witch attire: a large pointed hat, a black coat over a white blouse with a yellow cravat, and a dark blue skirt.

Azusa occasionally changes her outfit depending on the situation. For example, during the Red Dragon wedding, she wore a tailored dress appropriate for the ceremony. However, she typically prefers to stay in her standard Witch outfit.

In the light novel, Azusa’s appearance before reincarnation is never described, though it is implied she was an ordinary Japanese woman. In the manga, she is shown with long dark hair, while her face remains unseen. In the anime’s opening scene, her hair is briefly shown tied in a ponytail.

Azusa is portrayed as a laid-back and carefree person who prefers to take life at her own pace. Her relaxed attitude comes from her previous life, where she died from overwork, which made her strongly avoid exhausting or demanding tasks. Even so, she understands the value of responsibility and will finish necessary work as long as it doesn’t disrupt the peaceful lifestyle she prioritizes.

She is also kindhearted and welcoming, forming bonds with many different people and species, even those who first approached her with hostility or caused trouble. Because of her generosity and willingness to help others, she became a well-loved figure in Flatta, where the villagers show their appreciation by taking care of her and offering rewards for her assistance.

Azusa originally lived in Japan as a 27-year-old office worker who spent her life buried in endless overtime. Her exhausting routine left her with no personal time, and she eventually collapsed from overwork. When she awoke before an Angel, she was given pity for her brief, harsh life and granted the chance to be reborn with a wish that would bring her true happiness.

Reincarnated as an immortal Witch in the mountains near the town of Flatta, Azusa chose a peaceful existence far from stress. For the next three hundred years, she lived quietly by hunting slimes and making potions, building a calm and simple life that she could finally enjoy.
