Riselia is a sweet and kind girl with a strong maternal instinct, always willing to help those in need, especially children. She can also be flirtatious and teasing, showing a bold, perverted side when she interacts closely with Leonis, such as during shared baths or intimate situations.

Riselia Ray Crystalia was born into a noble family that oversaw the Assault Gardens. Six years ago, her family was slain by the Voids during a large-scale attack on the Third Assault Garden, where her parents and older sister fought to protect the people as governors and Holy Swordsmen. At nine years old, only Riselia and her childhood friend Regina survived, and both were later enrolled in Excalibur Academy.

During a mission to investigate the ruins for Voids, Riselia discovered Leonis in a casket and took responsibility for caring for him. While leaving the ruins, a Void attacked them, and she was knocked unconscious while protecting Leonis.

Unknown to her, Leonis used his sorcery to save her, transforming her into a vampire. She only realized the change when she felt extreme fatigue and Leonis revealed the truth: she had become the Vampire Queen.
