Lurie Abendroth is a petite blonde girl known for her modesty and polite demeanor. Her coat of arms is Gaias, the “glory crest,” which Matthias (as Gaius in his past life) once despised. She entered the Second Royal Academy to become a first-class augmenter/enchanter, holding great admiration for enchanters and believing that mastery of enchantments reduces the need for direct combat.

The day before the Academy’s entrance exam, she met Matthias when her friend Alma helped him enchant Lurie’s broken sword. She placed second in the exam and later joined Matthias’s party. Lurie is highly skilled in magical augmentation, impressing Matthias with her speed and precision. She assists the party by enchanting weapons, crafting arrows for Alma, and practicing the Abendroth family’s sword techniques. She can also cast attack magic herself with proficiency.

Lurie is sometimes self-conscious and awkward, especially around Matthias. She nervously admits she has never had a fiancé or boyfriend, and occasionally clings to Matthias when worried. She was initially insecure about her small chest and considered using a magical tool for enlargement, but gained confidence after Matthias reassured her that it was fine as it was.
