He tends to be jealous and stalker-ish, often knowing things about her and her routine that she doesn’t tell him. He can also be extremely observant as shown in Episode 5, when he talks about how her eating habits have slightly changed due to her being stressed. There is a slight hint that he might be obsessive, talking about how he has a shrine of her and doesn’t have any friends except her.

Saki Hananoi is first seen as a nonchalant and detached individual, but he quickly reveals a deeper side, showing his strong determination to express his love for Hotaru. He can be jealous and at times comes across as stalker-like, often knowing details about her life and routine that she hasn’t shared with him.

He is also highly observant, as demonstrated in Episode 5, where he notices subtle changes in Hotaru’s eating habits caused by stress. There are hints of an obsessive streak in his personality, including references to maintaining a shrine dedicated to her and not having any close friends besides Hotaru.
