Isaki Magari

Isaki Magari (曲 伊咲, Magari Isaki), is the female protagonist of Insomniacs After School. She serves as the vice president of the Astronomy Club at Kuyo High School, where she finds solace and comfort in the club’s observatory. Isaki, much like the male protagonist Ganta Nakami, suffers from insomnia, but unlike him, she initially tries to keep her condition hidden from others. In an effort to cope with her sleepless nights, Isaki turns to the astronomical conservatory, which becomes her personal sanctuary, offering her the peace and quiet she desperately needs.

Isaki’s life takes a turn when she meets Ganta at the observatory. Their shared experience of insomnia brings them together, and over time, Isaki and Ganta form a deep connection, both through their shared struggles and their mutual interest in astrophotography. With permission, they officially join the Astronomy Club, and together, they engage in the activities that foster both personal growth and their bond.
