Jeanne Euphoria (ジャンヌ=ユーフォリア, Jan’nu-Yūforia), is a recurring character in Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki (How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom). She is the younger sister of Maria Euphoria, the former Empress of the Gran Chaos Empire, and the older sister of Trill Euphoria. After the fall of the Gran Chaos Empire during the war against the Great Tiger Kingdom of Haan, which led to the empire’s division, Jeanne became the ruler of the newly formed Euphoria Kingdom.
A skilled diplomat, warrior, and strategist, Jeanne is one of the most competent leaders in the series, possessing both military prowess and political intelligence. She is known for her strong sense of duty, tactical thinking, and unwavering commitment to her people.
Background

Appearance in anime
Jeanne was raised in a political and military environment, growing up alongside her older sister, Maria Euphoria, who was widely regarded as an idealistic and compassionate ruler. While Maria focused on diplomacy and alliances, Jeanne honed her skills in military strategy and governance, ensuring that she could support her sister in defending their empire.
After the Gran Chaos Empire suffered defeat against the Great Tiger Kingdom of Haan, leading to the empire’s fragmentation, Jeanne was forced to take on the mantle of leadership. As the new Queen of the Euphoria Kingdom, she took responsibility for rebuilding the remnants of her fallen empire, ensuring that her people could regain stability and security under her rule.
Her experiences have shaped her into a pragmatic and resilient leader, willing to make difficult decisions when necessary, while still striving to honor her late sister’s ideals.
Appearance
Jeanne has long silver-blue hair and striking violet eyes, giving her a regal and commanding presence. She carries herself with confidence and authority, rarely allowing emotions to cloud her expressions. Unlike her sister Maria, who had a softer and more gentle appearance, Jeanne’s sharper features and piercing gaze make it clear that she is a woman of action and strategy.
She often wears a military-style uniform, emphasizing her dual role as both a queen and a warrior. When in battle, she dons practical armor, reflecting her hands-on approach to leadership and combat.
Personality
Jeanne Euphoria is pragmatic, intelligent, and strong-willed, embodying the qualities of a decisive and capable leader. Unlike her older sister Maria, who was an idealist focused on diplomacy and alliances, Jeanne is a realist who understands the necessity of strength and calculated decision-making. She is highly tactical in both military and political affairs, always ensuring that her actions are backed by logic and strategy rather than emotions.
Despite her strict and no-nonsense demeanor, Jeanne is deeply loyal to her people and carries a strong sense of duty. She may come across as cold or distant, but this is due to her disciplined and composed nature, which she developed to handle the weight of leadership. However, she does value intelligence and competence, forming strong bonds with those she respects. She is not one to engage in pointless sentimentality, but her actions speak louder than words, as she is willing to sacrifice her own desires for the greater good of her kingdom.
