Utsunomiya Toramaru has spiky blue-black hair and dark eyes, bearing a resemblance to Endou Kanon in terms of hairstyle. He wears the standard Inazuma Japan jersey, which consists of a blue shirt with white stripes on the shoulders, a red patch below the collar, and a lightning bolt emblem on the left side. His uniform is completed with plain white shorts featuring blue stripes.

In his casual attire, Toramaru is often seen wearing a white shirt layered with a yellow jacket, paired with gray shorts.

In Inazuma Eleven GO, his appearance changes slightly as he grows side bangs, and his hair spikes to the left. His outfit in this series consists of a gray suit complemented by a black tie and black gloves, giving him a more refined and mature look.

Personality

Toramaru is a generally shy and innocent boy, often displaying a reserved attitude. Despite his timid nature, he possesses remarkable potential in soccer, demonstrating impressive natural talent in the sport. His dedication extends beyond the field, as he is a caring and responsible individual, particularly when it comes to supporting his mother. He insists on managing their restaurant on his own when she falls ill, highlighting his sense of responsibility and selflessness.

Initially hesitant about fully utilizing his abilities, Toramaru gains confidence after his teammates encourage him to play without holding back. This turning point occurs during the match against Desert Lion, where he successfully executes Tiger Drive, shocking his team and revealing his true strength. From that moment, he plays with greater freedom, shedding his doubts and embracing his energetic and competitive nature.

Toramaru greatly admires Gouenji Shuuya, aspiring to surpass him as a soccer player. His admiration is reflected in his playful yet determined attitude, often stating, “Beware, or I’ll take the ace’s seat from you.” Over time, his respect for Gouenji and his teammates deepens not only as seniors but also as close friends. Though he generally avoids calling his mother during work unless absolutely necessary, he remains deeply connected to his family responsibilities while striving to improve his soccer skills.

    • In early trailers for Inazuma Eleven 3: Sekai e no Chousen!!, his name was displayed in katakana as トラマル (Toramaru) instead of kanji.
