Appearance in anime

Metori comes from one of the wealthiest families in Japan, with the Saiko Conglomerate being a top-tier financial empire. As a result, he grew up spoiled, believing that money could buy anything, including friendship, loyalty, and admiration. His lack of real social experiences made him arrogant and out-of-touch, assuming that he was superior to everyone around him simply because of his wealth.

After seeing Kokomi Teruhashi in the city, he immediately fell in love and decided to transfer to PK Academy, believing that he could win her affection with his wealth. However, upon arriving at PK Academy, he was shocked to find that not everyone was impressed by his money, particularly Kusuo Saiki and his group of friends, who refused to be bought.

Over time, Metori gradually begins to change, realizing that his wealth does not automatically make him better than others. Through his interactions with Kusuo, Nendou, Kaidou, and the rest of the class, he starts to develop real friendships and understand the value of humility.
